History of website

the history of the website is only 5 years away from my birth,
On August 6, 1991, One of the British scientists named Tim Berners-Lee developed the first live website in the world.
he designed the one-pager website based on Hypertext Markup Language(HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets(CSS).
In 1993 the first proper version of HTML was also written by Tim Berners-Lee 1993.

Hypertext Markup Language(HTML)

HTML 4.01 version is widely using in the 2000s while there are many other versions are available.
HTML 4.0.1 become an official standard in December 1999. Another famous version of HTML was rewritten as an XML language.
which stands for extensible markup language (XML).
HTML and CSS are the two main basic technologies for designing web pages.
The HTML is used to design the basic structure of the web page while CSS the (visual and aural) layout, for various devices. Its easy to use html as compaire to css because html is simple

Cascading Style Sheets(CSS).

In 1993 the first proper version of HTML was also written by Tim Berners-Lee 1993.
The CSS is used for decorating the web pages. Sir Tim berners-Lee has invented the (WWW) in 1989. the WWW stands for World Wide Web.
at that time Tim berbners-Lee working with CERN(European Council for Nuclear Research).
The first Web was originally designed to meet the demand for automated sharing of information between scientists in various universities & educational institutes all around the world.

He is a Professorial Fellow of the Computer Science department at the University of Oxford and a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
